Privacy policy

We built Ehsiblak to work without knowing anything about you. This page explains exactly what reaches us and what does not.

In short

  • Every calculation runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent to a server.
  • No sign-up and no accounts; we never ask for your name or email to use a calculator.
  • We do not sell or share any data.

What happens to the figures you enter

The calculator runs in your browser. So that you can save or share a result, it writes the figures you entered into the page address (after the question mark). That address stays in your browser history, and anyone you send the link to can see it.

If you reload the page or open a copied link, your browser asks our server for the full address, as with any website, so the address and the figures in it reach our hosting logs. We do not use those logs to find out who you are. If you want your figures kept nowhere, clear the fields before sharing a link, or use a private browsing window.

What our hosting records

Like every website, our hosting server records each request automatically: IP address, time, the page requested and the type of browser. The hosting company keeps these logs for a limited time for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.

When you write to us

If you email us, we keep your address and your message only to reply and to fix what you point out. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your message with anyone, and we delete it once we no longer need it.

Our pages link to official sources and other websites. When you open one, its privacy policy applies, not ours.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted through the contact page. In practice we hold nothing about you unless you have written to us.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.

Visitor statistics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited most and how visitors find them, their type of device and approximate country. It sets cookies in your browser.

We have set it up so that the figures you type into a calculator are not sent to it, even when they are in the page address, and we do not link the statistics to who you are.

Your consent and how to change it

Where the law requires your consent, we ask before setting any non-essential cookie. You can change your choice at any time from the consent message itself or by clearing the cookies in your browser.

Every calculator works without cookies, so refusing them never changes a result.
